This course provides a comprehensive examination of administrative law and the regulatory framework governing government agencies, essential for paralegals working in administrative settings. Students will explore the sources of administrative law, the functions and powers of administrative agencies, and the principles of administrative procedure. Key topics include agency rulemaking, adjudication, enforcement actions, and judicial review of agency decisions. The course also covers the paralegal's role in assisting with administrative proceedings, including drafting pleadings, conducting legal research, and preparing clients for hearings.
