PHAR 1040 PHARMACOLOGY

The course introduces the students to principles and knowledge about all classifications of medication. Topics include: disease states and treatment modalities, pharmaceutical side effects and drug interactions, control substances, specific drugs, and drug addiction and abuse.

ALHS 1011 or BIOL 2113, BIOL 2113L and BIOL 2114, BIOL 2114L, ALHS 1040, ALHS 1090, COMP 1000, ENGL 1010 or ENGL 1101, MATH 1012, or MATH 1101, or MATH 1111. Degree students are also required to have a general education elective and Humanities/Fine Arts Course as prerequisites.
