Program Description: The Associate of Science degree in General Studies prepares students to pursue a four-year degree or for careers in multiple fields of studies. Graduates develop academic and professional knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in the profession of their choice or to further their education at a four-year university.
Employment Opportunities: This program provides flexible yet focused curriculum to prepare students in strategic, high demand industries. Students who complete a General Studies Associate of Science degree will have the foundation to continue their education in the liberal arts, mathematics, science and social science at a four-year institution.

Augusta Advantage
The Augusta Advantage program is a partnership between Augusta Technical College and Augusta University. Students will be able to transfer from Augusta Technical College to Augusta University with 60 course credits. The Guided Pathway below is provided to help guide students in their course selection to be sure they are on track with the Augusta Advantage program. Following the Augusta Advantage program does not result in the awarding of a credential from Augusta Technical College, unless the students also takes EMPL 1000.
