NCCER Advanced Carpentry, Technical Certificate of Credit

Length of Program: Two Terms
Credit Hours Required for Graduation: 18

Program Description: The Advanced Carpentry certificate picks up where the Carpentry Fundamentals certificate ends. This program introduces the student to the more technically advanced carpentry skills. Topics include introduction to the interior finishes and trim, door and window installation, steel framing, and stair finishes. The program emphasizes a combination of carpentry theory and practical application necessary for successful employment. Program graduates receive an advanced carpentry certificate and have the qualifications of an entry-level finish carpenter.
